My heart is broken. Im blessed to have him as family for the last 40+ years. He was always a gentleman. We shared many laughs and will be missed
Rest high on that mountain until we meet again. Love Susie

We will miss Ed so much. I am so sorry for your loss. I had the priviledge to work with Ed for over 30 years at the Daily Times & News Sentinel. He always had interesting and funny stories. I will miss him standing with me at UT football games, and Powell games as we shared many hours remembering newspaper / AP days.
Ed was a great man and friend to us all.

I am so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He was a tremendous person. I had the pleasure of working with Ed in Tennessee and he always had stories to share. He was a great man and loved his family dearly and always spoke so kindly about you all.
He will be sorely missed.
