Don was a member of Knoxville Track Club and I enjoyed competing with Don. I also worked with Don on occasion at the library on some research projects. Blessed to have known him.

Don was a fine man in all respects. He dearly loved his wife Barbara and his children Donna, Mark, and Randy, and his grandchildren Sarah and Hanna. He and Barbara spent a lifetime caring for their son Randy. Don especially loved camping with this family. As everyone who knew him remembers he was an avid NASCAR racing fan. He especially enjoyed the races at Daytona. Usually when there he took the opportunity to spend time with his sister, Lorene Seymour. He was a great friend and an excellent brother-in-law. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
