Evelyn was a very special person who always gave unconditional love and I truly loved her dearly. She was a part of the great memories of my life. Our thoughts and prayers go to her daughter Martie and family. Rest In Peace Evelyn, for we know (absence from the body, present with the lord).

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Evelyn for over 40 years. We called each other Sissy because we had the same last name Nelson. I always said we were twins of a different mother. We always had a good time at work. I will miss her very much even though we hadn't seen each other for a long time. May God bless you all. My love to you all.

Although I did not work the same unit as Evelyn I knew her well. She was delightful to be around, the smile on her face and positive take on life made her a special person. Those of us who knew her during her years at Childrens mourn with you.

I had the pleasure of working with Evelyn at Children's on 3rd floor as her Asst head nurse. She was a great lady! She worked hard, was a great preceptor ( helped train new staff) and helped the families feel more at ease while there. She will be greatly missed.

So sorry for your loss. Evelyn was a great lady. She helped me thru many many nights as I was a new RN grad but she knew it all from years of experience. She spoke of her family often. Prayers for you all.
