Norma "Jean" Travis
Knoxville, TN
Norma "Jean" Travis, age 79 of Knoxville, went to be with her Heavenly Father and husband Ray on November 24, 2017, the 48th wedding anniversary of her and Ray. Preceded in death by her parents, Paul Rose and Magnolia Kitts; husband, Ray Travis; son, Ricky Harmon; daughter, Melissa Hanson; brother, Ronnie Kitts. Survived by sons, Jeff and wife Jamie Travis and Jamie and wife Kelli Travis; daughter, Shelli Abraham Riffey; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; her extended family at Courtyards. Family and friends will meet at the Sherwood Chapel, 3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN on Wednesday, November 29th at 2:00 pm. for funeral service followed by interment. Pastor Rusty Sharp officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Tennessee. Condolences may be offered at www.sherwoodchapel.net.

Jean, I believe I met you at Shelli's Salon. She always told me how much of a mentor you were after her own Mom's death . I know Shelli is heartbroken with losing you. She loved you so much.
Shelli is in a happy place now, and I know you gave her the same advice her Mom would have given her. Thank you for that. Sondra Hedberg
