Shirley Bates Collier age 78, of Heiskell, Tn, was born April 12, 1939 and passed away on March 25, 2018.
Shirley was a member of Faithway Baptist Church and labored with her husband Jerry in many churches.
Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband Rev. Jerry Clayton Collier on May 18, 2017; parents Tom and Nannie Dellinger-Bates; sisters Lucille Johnson, Rosie Gann, and Pauline LeQuire; brothers Roy, Earl, and Fred Bates.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Angel England; son Douglas Collier (Vickie Miles); sisters Marie Knootz, Betty Edsel, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm, with Rev. Mike Hurst officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am, Friday, March 30, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel to procede to Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 am graveside. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Ronnie LeQuire, Nick Day, John Kesterson, Tim Sherritze, Johnny Richardson, and Earl Johnson.
