Karen, our hearts are broken as so many people. Not knowing about John devastated us to no end. We cried then laughed about the good times. You will never meet a finer, sweeter person than John and you were so fortunate to have him in your life so long, but should have been longer. You guys were like family to us and Jeremiah looked at him as a father figure. He was always there for everyone, no matter the situation. Evidently, God was in need of a special Angel and he surely got one. A piece of your heart is forever gone, but his love and memories will always be with you. You and your family are forever in our prayers that you will find peace and happiness in knowing you got to spend your like with such a great man. We love you....Becky and Jeremiah Jones

Dear family,

John was the kindest man I think I have ever met. I am a school teacher and often went to Kroger in the early morning around 6:00 a.m. He would walk me to my car and make sure I was inside. He then would always tell me to have a good day. I am so sorry for your loss and know his kind soul will be forever missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. My mother and I both worked for him years ago and remember him fondly . He was probably one of the best people that I ever worked for.
