So heartbroken to hear of this news. So sorry for all of you. We went to Brickey together and were always very close friends back then. He was such a sweet little guy. He will be dearly missed. Many thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

I made some poor choices five years ago that resulted in my incarceration. I began training to improve my health. During this time almost daily my mind went back to the days of my childhood. I lived in Whispering Hills and Big Joe Dotson was my best friend. Joey was the best friend a kid could have. He taught me how to play soccer and skateboard. He always had the best ideas. He always pushed me to exceed my own expectations in whatever hobbies we pursued. This is by far the hardest time I've had putting my thoughts into words. There's no doubt my best friend will be my best Angel. You will always be remembered Big Joe.

I am so sorry for your loss. Joey and my daughter-Beth Weaver-were classmates at Brickey. I remember him as a cute little blonde headed boy with a sweet smile. Thoughts are with you all. Karren Weaver Cox
