My prayers are with the family. I worked with Mr. Montgomery for many years at White Lily. He was the kindest gentlemen and it was a pleasure to have worked with him for so many years.

I have two memories of Monty's Dad. The first is that every time I ran into him he looked great! The last time was this past summer when he was at Food City in his shorts and sneakers. My Dad never wore shorts and to see a guy that could look good in shorts at that age was something.

The second memory is my late good friend Ted Pedas always spoke highly of Monty's Dad as they worked together at White Lily. Ted spoke about what a great salesman he was and told me the story of the Hardee's biscuits that was in the obituary.

Jean and my sympathy goes out to the entire family and we wish you all the best at this difficult time.
