Jerry, I am truly saddened to learn of the passing of your mother. You, your mom and dad were great memories of my childhood and teenage years. Prayers for all of your family.

I have a very special memory of Mrs. Sexton that has stayed part of my heart. While I was a student at Fulton, my family was going through some really tough times since both of my parents were having serious health problems. A man from our church came to the school and paid for our lunches for the year. I was given a blue card that I was to show to the cashier each day. When I got ready to show it to the cashier the first day, she leaned forward and whispered, "That's ok, Sweetie. You don't need to show me and it will be our secret.". Mrs. Sexton saved me from being embarrassed in front of my friends. I have never forgotten her kindness and have shared the story often. Thank you again, Mrs. Sexton, for caring so much.. God bless your family
