Bernard T. Bostick, 94, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on February 21, 2018. He was a proud WWII and Korean War Veteran, and he retired from TVA after 34 years of service. Bernard loved God, his family, and his country, and he was a faithful member of Powell Church and the Lenior City Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was predeceased by his father and mother Bernard and Lukie Floyd Bostick of Headland, AL, and brothers Linton, Floyd, and Jacob Bostick. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Shelva Rymer Bostick; son Randall Bostick of Vienna, VA; daughter Kathy Cabe Trundle of Raleigh, NC; daughter Karen Cabe Copeland (Casey) of Knoxville; son Kurt Cabe of Knoxville; and grandchildren Martha Marie Trundle Selby (Robert) of Atlanta; Anna Trundle of Columbus, OH and Raleigh, NC; Samuel Copeland of Knoxville; Bailey and Kaitlyn Cabe of Powell; and Bella Cabe of Knoxville; sister Virginia Draughon of Dothan, AL; brother Shelby Bostick (Karen) of Lutz, FL; son-in-love, David Trundle of Columbus, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Sunday, February, 25, 2018 at Powell Church, 323 West Emory Road, Powell, TN. Receiving of friends from 2-4:00pm, with a celebration of his life at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Powell Church.
