Alice Faye Payne, 81 of Knoxville, TN formally of Benton passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2018. She was a native of Madisonville, TN and retired from Etowah Manufacturing.
A daughter of the late Money and Grace Jenkins. Preceded in death by her first husband, Warren H. Martindale; second husband, John D. Payne; 2 sisters, Ida Mae Reynold, Thelma Jenkins; 5 brothers, Hubert, Jerry A., David, George and Burkey Jenkins. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda Mae and Randall Allan Harper; grandson, Zackery Allan Harper; Step-children and spouse, Susan and Andrew Wilson, Richard Payne and John Payne; step-granddaughter, Burgandy Payne; 5 brothers, J.R., John, Billy, Mike and Ricky Jenkins; sisters, Donnie R. Thompson, Linda A. Watson, Virgie F. Cross, Brenda R. Jenkins and Judy Jenkins. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 5, 2018 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Robbie Speights officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday prior to the service. The
Interment will follow the service to Green Hill Cemetery. Bordwine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. If you are unable to attend you may sign the guest registry at www.bordwinefuneralhome.com.

Condolences To the Family of Alice Payne.
Alice was my neighbor and mostly my Friend. I do miss her daily visits, her smile and her wit. I will miss her genuine concern for others and her loving nature. Y'all have my sincerest sympathy in the loss of one so dear. RIP my Friend.
