Millsaps, Billy Joe Jr. - Joe was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and son, who lost his battle with cancer on Friday, March 9, 2018. He loved life and he lived every day to the fullest. Joe loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He spent many hours as a devoted father, attending his children's sporting events. His family was the most important thing to him and he always worked hard to provide for them. His dedication and loyalty to his family in spite of his illness was honorable. Joe fought a long and courageous battle with cancer, most days with a smile on his face and a warm greeting for everyone. What an amazing and brave warrior he was. He is at peace now resting in the arms of God. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Joe was a member of Philadelphia First Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe, Sr. and Wanda (Watts) Millsaps. Joe is survived by his wife, Kim Kelley Millsaps; children, Nina Millsaps, Lena Millsaps, Ben Millsaps, Morgan Millsaps and friend, Jacob Henley; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Conway Dukes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy and Karmen Millsaps, John and Alicia Millsaps; nephews and niece, Josh Millsaps and wife, Courtney, Matt Millsaps, Eli and Hannah Millsaps; great nephew and niece, Jake and Carlee Millsaps.
Services honoring and remembering Joe will be held 5 PM Sunday at the Philadelphia First Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Courtney officiating. Contributions in memory of Joe may be made to Philadelphia First Baptist Church, PO Box 45; Philadelphia, TN 37846

We just now found out about Joe's passing. It is time again for preparing for the 127 yard sale. Joe always set up with us at my dad's. He will be sorely missed this year as he kept all of us entertained. Our prayers and condolences are with you all.
