Theodore (Ted) McGoldrick

Theodore (Ted) McGoldrick, age 85 of Rutledge, passed away peacefully at his home on January 2, 2018. Ted was retired from The United States Air Force, after twenty years of service. He spent many years thereafter in the auto parts business in Rutledge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Johnson and Sarah Ora Jarnagin McGoldrick; sister, Launa Bevard; and niece, Karen Bevard.
Survivors include nieces, Teri Fernandez, Lisa McGoldrick and Sharon Bevard Williams; great niece, Ashley McGoldrick; sister-in-law, Doris McGoldrick; brother-in-law, John Bevard; special friend, Dorothy Reynolds; and his extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2018 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with Rev. Betty Shirley officiating. Interment to follow in Rutledge United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 P.M. till 1:30 P.M. prior to services, Friday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be John H. Jarnagin, Dennis Burch, DeWayne Dunn, Mark Hammer, Edwin Jarnagin, and Ben Jarnagin. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Jarnagin, Nobel Cameron, Brad Reynolds, John Jarnagin, and the past and present employees of Jarnagin Motor Company. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Rutledge United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
