Dear Family of Dick Brooks,

I just read of Dick's passing in the Oakland County Dental Publication and was so sorry to hear of your loss.
Dick and his father were very important to me and our life. We went to school together and Hookie and Dick together invited me to join them in Rochester to become the 5th dentist here. The Brooks family were instrumental in introducing us to the town, welcoming us to events, parties and clubs, as well as their home. Our children eventually went to the same schools. When we rented a home "out in the country" my Margie enjoyed visiting Marilyn on Mead Rd.

My Margie passed away two years ago. We all miss her. Since we read of Dick's passing we have been thinking of you all. Hello to the grown Brooks boys, and to Margie we extend our regrets.

Thinking of you all. Ken Hock and family

Dick was a 'hobby friend' in the Ham Radio Hobby for several years before he became our dentist. We were sorry to see him leave Michigan, but I guess he wanted to be away from Michigan's sometimes harsh winters.

My condolences to the Brooks family. Will say a prayer for him the next times I use my Ham Radio.

He was a welcome member in several Ham Radio Clubs in the Oakland County (Michigan) area when he lived here.

We are so sorry to hear about Dick. We did have a lot of good times together, here in Michigan, also in Florida, one time in Tennessee. Many great memories! GO BLUE! Lois & Peter Duhamel, Rochester Hills, MI
