My wife and I were saddened to hear of Ruth's passing. Her husband, Russ, performed our wedding ceremony on the back porch of the "Old Brick" with Ruth, Uncle Ben, and a sprinkling of other family members in attendance. Ruth and Russ were very gracious by opening their home for our event. My father, George Marston, and Ruth were first cousins. As a child, I remember our family spent many summer visits in Dandridge. I have many memories of extended family there: Uncle Ben playing a ruthless game of Croquet stands out--almost as much as Aunt Mary's delicious yellow tomatoes. We send our condolences to the family--just know Ruth will always have a place in our hearts!
