Greeneville - Sonny Wayne Marsh, 83, of Greeneville, passed away at Greeneville Community Hospital East, on Tuesday, January 13, 2021. He was the founder and owner of Marsh LP and Marsh Petroleum. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Greeneville. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by 1 daughter: Lorrie Marsh; 1 son & daughter-in-law: Chris & April Marsh; grandchildren: TE & Dakota Myers, Jon Luke Myers & Mickaylee Britton, Spencer & Murray Marsh, Tyler Marsh, Watson Marsh, Chloe Marsh; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 brother & sister-in-law: Roger & Mary Jo Marsh of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Delores Marsh; parents: Louis & Ruby Marsh; 1 sister: Wanda Davis.

The graveside service will be Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2PM at Graceland Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. David Green officiating.

Pallbearers: TE Myers, John Luke Myers, Spencer Marsh, Tyler Marsh, Watson Marsh, John Tweed, Doug Debusk, and WT Daniels. Honorary pallbearers: Dr. Jaime Oakley, the Co-Ed Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, the employees of Marsh LP Gas, Terry Leonard, Dr. Mark Patterson
