Virginia M. Romines, age 93, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to her final home on Monday, January 29, 2018. To meet her at her homecoming were daughters, Jerrie Sise and Helen Dupes; daughter-in-law, Margaret Romines; son-in-law, Bob Ballard; parents, Fred and Julia Hicks; siblings, Mildred Hicks, Glen Hicks, Dorothy Keener, Dick Hicks, Bobbie Cowan and many other family and friends, including special friends who loved her dearly, Kenneth White and Agnes Houser. Left to cherish her memory are children, Jim Romines, Peggy Ballard, Joe (Tina) Romines, Mike (Lora) Romines, Jeff Romines, Tommy (Vickie) Romines, Tammy (Mike) Widener; son-in-law's, Bud Dupes and Jim Sise and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Graveside service Friday, 10:00am, at Seven Islands Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seven Islands Cemetery, c/o: Janie Cunningham, 2711 Kimberlin Heights Road, Knoxville, TN 37920. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.berryfuneralhome.com for the Romines family.
