Sorry to hear about our cousin. Had not seen him recently. Will always remember playing with him when we were young.

In the last few years since the death of my own parents (Mabel & Claude Wagner), I found myself wondering about Lester and trying to search him out of Facebook as we had lost touch. My memories of him are sprinkled with stories from Mom & Dad, my siblings and Aunt Grace. To me he was always a legend and bigger than life as those that talked about him had such great admiration for him. As a child, I remember him staying with us in High Point and seeing him through the years at Mom and Dad's home in Tennessee. He always had a big smile and my family adored seeing him. My mother especially had a heart full of love for Lester and always enjoyed having him visit. As an adult I did not get to see him often but I know through the stories I have heard that he was adored by his grand parents and extended family members. Mom was so very happy when he met you Christine and was able to experience his own family. May your memories be stronger than your grief during this difficult time. Regards, Wanda Wagner Cox

After I learned Wiley passed away, I looked the photo gallery in Dignity Memorial website. I want to share with you about Wiley. You do not know me & I live in Washington, DC area. I have met Wiley at SEAAD softball & basketball tournaments years ago & the last SEDGA (golf tourney) in Mystic Rock Golf Course, Farmington, PA in 2014. He was an all-American GUY who opened his heart to share his life with me. Please accept my condolences to you, Christine, and your families. Your loss of Wiley touches my heart & I share your grief at the very difficult time.
God Bless Wiley!
Frederick Pickering.

I am so very sorry that Lester is no longer with us. He was a very fine person, and he will be missed by many people. So sorry I missed his service on Sunday, but I worked that day, and my car broke down on the way home. My thoughts are with you, Christine, because I know you loved him very much.
