I've always thought of Dad as the "Universal Man".There was nothing he wanted to do, that he did not find a way to learn how to do, and then do it. When he taught you how to do something and you goofed up, he would smile and say " Well, I guess you learned how not to do it. I've goofed up a few times myself." He gave me the gift of how to be a mom and grandma. My life, was blessed by having him as my father.

I will truly miss uncle Norman. Every summer we would travel out to see the family. I have so many great memories from my childhood involving uncle Norman and aunt Lavern. I have some of his bird houses and the last time we were out there he gave me some of his flower seeds. Every time they bloom I think of uncle Norman.
