On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Margaret Louise Gaulke (Turner), loving wife, mom, grandmother, aunt, and sister, passed away at the age of 60.

Margaret was born on March 12, 1960 in Waukegan, IL to Paul and Harriet (Emmrich) Turner. She was a graduate of Round Lake High School and lived the majority of her life in the Round Lake, IL area where she raised her three sons. Margaret met and later married George Gaulke on July 10, 1999.

Margaret had a passion for her family and friends and was loved by many. She also loved playing Bingo, and trying her luck on lottery tickets. Her luck and diligence paid off and she always used her winnings to spoil her family. Margaret's other love was the students she drove daily for the RL School District. She retired in 2017 and her and George retired to Knoxville, Tennessee.

Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Paul, and her mother Harriet.

She is survived by her husband George, sons Christopher Turner of Round Lake, IL, Anthony (Kristen) Piel of Wausau, WI, and Kirk Smith of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren Zack Gaul, Nick Turner, Autumn Turner of Round Lake, IL, Dakota Piel and Peyton Waldrop of Wausau, WI, and Koby (Iridyan) Gaul, US Army Fort Drum, NY, her sisters, Mary (Don) Bridgeman of Bullhead City, AZ, Patricia (Al) Henderson of Burlington, WI, and Julie (Greg) Farris of Hayesville, NC, her brothers, Paul (Monica) of Milwaukee, WI and Mike of Romulus, MI, and her special sister in law Mary Valentino of Maryville, TN. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, and several cousins.

A celebration of Margaret's life will occur later this year. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Round Lake Area Schools CUSD #116 Education Foundation, PO Box 1881, Round Lake, IL 60073.
