Danny Joe Bock, 79, of Monroe City, passed away Thursday, November 29, at the Hannibal Regional Hospital, Hannibal.
He was born December 10,1938 in Kinderhook, Illinois the son of Raymond Joseph and Margaret R. Tolson Bock.
He was a 1956 graduate of Hannibal High School, Hannibal.  Danny worked in the construction business for many years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and hanging out with the "Shively Boys". 
Danny was always happy to hear from his great grandkids and their achievements.
He married Shirley Jean Waid on March 3,1959 and she preceded him in death December 14, 2011.
Survivors include two sons Tom Bock of Monroe City and Jeremy Bock (Heather) of Moberly, Missouri.
Two daughters Terri Polster and Toni Thomas both of Monroe City.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ray Bock, Jr., one grandson Joseph Daniel Bock and by his step-mother Katherine E. Webster who raised him from the age of two after his birth mother passed away.
Visitation services were held from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, December 3, at the Garner Funeral Home, Monroe City. 
There will be no funeral services at this time.  Pallbearers will be Colton Bock, Craig Thomas, Matt Roberts, Adam Elliott, Jessie Kindhart and Travis Sladewski.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri.
