Peter gave wonderful experiences to many Papua New Guineans who he used for his radio plays on the PNG National Broadcasting commission such as Rose and Jean Kekedo and John Billie Tokume some who became Departmental Heads or diplomats. He directed Man Friday with Norman Vaughton as Robinson Crusoe and William Tokaku as Man Friday in Port Moresby and returned to PNG as a guest Drama advisor. I always enjoyed calling in to see Peter when I drove from Brisbane to Sydney. Attached is last years photo when I called in with Bruce Sowter. Peter sent me in 2015 where we shared his love of the Library sessions he ran in Newcastle. Unfortunately I was unable to add to this site. I had hoped Peter would stay with me when Norman Vaughton has a holiday with me in September this year. My condolences to all Peter's family and friends.

A dear friend of more than 50 years. Wonderful memories of theatre and radio performances in Papua New Guinea. A golden voice and a man of warmth, breadth and discernment. Vale dear friend.
