It has taken me 58 days to do this....
Ann Collins was my sweet Mom. I knew how lucky I was.....
My Mom was fiercely loyal to her Family, protective of her kids like a Momma Bear. Mom was gentle, trusting, kind, and was happy with a quiet life. My Dad used to say "bull headed" (true)
She also worried that after she was gone we would all go our separate ways.......
The below poem she found 5 yrs. ago & had me promise to share it with my siblings after she was gone....I did & I decided to share.
This was my Mom. Ann Elizabeth Kitz Collins.
Our world is forever changed.

The Fallen Limb
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls.
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again."

Annie, I will miss your wonderful smile, your wisdom, and sitting at the kitchen table talking and getting Motherly advise. Love Ann ( Mama )

I worked with Annie for years at FMC. My son called her gramma Annie. I'm sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed.
