Carolyn Ann MacKenzie, age 73 passed on peacefully at her home on April 1, 2021. She was born on Valentine's Day 1948 in Lancaster to the late, Ralph and Harriet Gang Kline. She was a member of the 5th Ave Church of Christ and was a secretary at Lancaster Electro Plating for 10+ years and then also a secretary at Anchor for 20+ years. Carolyn enjoyed her mid-day sitcoms and loved spoiling her grandchildren. Salem her granddaughter, was the light of her life and she enjoyed spending as much time with her as possible. Carolyn will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Andy MacKenzie, John (Karen) MacKenzie, Dana (Ashley Lynn) MacKenzie; grandchildren, Salem, Taytum, Jasmine, Shealin, and Kylee MacKenzie; sisters, Susie Kellenberger and Becky Lane-Cox; several nieces and nephews, and good friends, Carrie Smeltzer and Becky Fisher.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 30years, Ronald Alvin MacKenzie, parents, and sister Bonnie Jean Iliff.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 10:30AM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Betzer Cemetery. Calling hours will take place on Wednesday from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 practie social distancing and masks are required.
