Geraldine Forrest
Lancaster: Geraldine L. "Geri" Forrest, 88, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Pickering House. She was born June 9, 1929 in Columbus and was the daughter of the late William and Nettie (Potts) Bower. Geri received her BA in Library Science from Ohio Dominican University and was retired from Wagnall's Memorial in Lithopolis.
She is survived by her husband, 70 years, James D. Forrest; children, Dale (Penny) Forrest of Lancaster, Tom Forrest of Columbus and Jill Forrest (Michael Stafford) of Colorado Springs, CO; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A grave side service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Lithopolis Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to FairHope hospice for the wonderful care that Geri received over the last two years. Contributions may be given to FairHope hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 in Geri's memory.

I worked with Geri at the Wagnalls Memorial Library. She was a sweet, funny, and inspiring lady.
Always a smile on her face and ready to help. Loved her family and talked of them often.
