I spent several years working with George at Thomas Ewing and have many fond memories of such. He was a great and funny guy and will certainly be missed by many. May God bless the Raymond family.

I have delayed writing this, hoping that somehow, this news was not real. I had the privilege of playing football for George at General Sherman. Then, teaching and coaching football and track at Thomas Ewing. What a year, we went undefeated, in both sports. I loved the kitchen table talks, the scouting trips and the visit to the cabin in the UP. George was a coach, colleague, and mentor for me. I am hurting from his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with Jennifer, Casey and Libby. Love you, George. Your friend, Derrill

So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of having My. Raymond for my gym teacher at West School.

I am sorry to hear of George's passing. As a teacher, coach, and family man he was the best and his stories and laughter made for some great times. My condolences.
