I was very honored to be Jean's nurse. I enjoyed talking to her everyday. Eventually I found out she was related to my boyfriend and after long talks found out her family brother and a sister lived in the town I grew up in. I told her I was going to stop talking to her because eventually I would be related to her and we laughed. She was a great lady getting to know her. I am very glad I had the opportunity to know her. She will be sadly missed.

Barb, condolences to you and all your family. I know how tough losing a mother can be. Thoughts and prayers will be with you. Jean was always so friendly and special, and I enjoyed hearing her stories about my Mom and Dad when I visited with her at Christmas time. She is one of the last of the old Theta CCL ladies to leave all of us.

So sorry for your loss, Barb. Your mom was a wonderful woman. She treated all of your friends like family. Peace be with you.
