Perry and family
May you be comforted in your sorrow. Maureen blessed me with the wonderful feeling of having known her. She was bright, loving and courageous.

Dear Frank,

I am so sorry for your loss. I know your love for your family was the greatest of many of your loves. It was so much greater than that of teaching English and inspiring tons of teenagers from Genoa to Perrysburg to read analytically, to empower them to write passionately (and of course, with the Oxford comma), and to live life in a moral code commensurate with Atticus Finch's. Please know that your impact in the lives of others lives on just as Betty's and Maureen's will continue to live on in the lives of many beyond your scope of awareness. I hope your memories of treasured moments and shared laughter will comfort you and sustain you through this difficult time. Know that your friends at Perrysburg High School grieve with you for your loss. I also hope you can find comfort knowing that both are at peace and filled with joy being in the arms of our Lord and with each other.

Peace, prayers, and love to you, Frank.
