I am so sorry to hear about Bubba. (that was what my brother and I used to call him when he called to talk to our dad and we answered the phone.) He always had a good hearty laugh, and a good sense of humor about two young kids giving him a hard time when he called. (All In a good clean fun). That was one of the many good stories and memories I have of Merrill, plus some other truckin trips, and as I pass the farm on my commute daily, I am reminded of those memories of Merrill and my dad. Thanks Bubba. Keep on truckin and roll on, up there on those heavenly highways with dad....10-4???

I remember when Merrill always wanted to have homemade chocolate ice cream. So Aunt Ruth would get out the equip, set out on their porch and make it. I'd always call Uncle Dovel Uncle Dogel
Merrill always laughed then would correct me.
