Philip W. Momburg Jr.
Bremen: Philip W. Momburg Jr., 78, passed away on Sunday, Oct 22, 2017. Phil was born on July 18, 1939 to the late Captain Philip W. and Nellie B. (Pickering) Momburg Sr. Phil was awarded certificates in Lay Ministry at the Pontifical College Josephinum. He served twenty years in ministries at St. Mark Catholic Church.
Phil is survived by his brothers W. Michael (Joy) Momburg and J. Dean (Mary Ellen) Momburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30AM Monday, Oct 30th, 2017 at St. Mark Church, Lancaster with Fr. Peter Gideon as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, Oct 30th from 9:00AM to the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark Church, Lancaster. The Sheridan Funeral Home, Lancaster are handling the arrangements. Our deepest condolences to our friend and mentor Mr. Momburg. He was a compassionate lister and helped many students during his years at Franklin Heights High School. He will be sadly missed and remembered with great respect and fondness.

I will forever remember Phil as a guidance counselor from Franklin Heights High School, Columbus, Ohio. I was so excited to reconnect with him recently and share memories. Heaven needed this deserving angel.
