Russell always had a smile for everyone.

I am honored to have called Russ my friend for over 30 years. I remember Russ as an independent truck driver. He loved exploring the country and had a true entrepreneurial spirit! He enjoyed working on his truck and would often wait until it was raining outside to wash it. (mostly for our amusement!) I also remember Russ as a bartender who loved to connect to people. People instantly felt his warmth and humor and would wait in long lines just for him. I finally knew Russ as a father and grandfather. Our daughters share the same birthday one year apart! Russ loved his family and friends unconditionally.
Dear Russ,
Remember no man is a failure who has friends.
Enjoy your wings!

I always knew my kids were in good hands with Russ, he always made sure someone was home before he left. What a great guy.

It was a privilege to have worked with Russ at Desert Rose!!! I always laugh when I think of the time a customer asked Russ what flavors we had, and Russ answered with a straight face who the hell do you think we are ?Baskin Robbins? You will be missed my friend.... prayers for his family.
