My classmate, my friend, my confidant. I loved our fishing escapades, sharing the excitement of the years first snow and Cowboy and Buckeye wins! You have earned your wings. You spread your love, guidance and intelect so unselfishly. You will be missed.

As I sit here and think about my Uncle Steve's life and all the goodness he brought into this world I think of the great legacy he leaves behind. He left his mark on so many! And he made me and continues to make me a better person every day. His thoughtful and compassionate heart and his ability to persevere through hardships without ever a complaint or any bitterness, the way he saw the good in everyone, and did whatever he could to encourage and lift up others and his strong faith, will always be an inspiration to me. He truly lived out the verses of Matthew chapter 5, he was the salt of the earth, a city on a hill, a light in the darkness. I know without a doubt that he is walking now, not only walking but walking with Jesus.
