I am deeply sorry to hear of Arnold's passing. The story of his life and accomplishments is exceptional and inspiring to all of us, and a wonderful legacy for his family to cherish. Sending my sincere sympathy. -- Sandy Homicz

I am so sorry to read this. Your father was always so kind the few times I got to meet him with the kiddos. I know they made him very proud and very happy and I do recall him being able to fix or build anything! This obit was beautifully written. May he rest peacefully. Xo ❤

We first heard of Arnold and Leonid when we received a letter from them. This was after "Roots" came out, and everyone was trying to find relatives. We saw the return address, with the name Preiser, and thought it was more of the same. Imagine our shock when the contents of the letter were accurate!
Imagine our further shock and amazement when we met them and saw facial similarities and other similarities between them and my brother Uri.
We were so happy to have new cousins. My grandfather was so moved to have met his nephews. Any time we got to spend with Arnold and Leonid was a pleasure. My only regret is that it was so little. I really hope that we can reconnect. I believe that at least one of Arnold's daughters lives in the NY area. It would be so nice to get together at some point and continue a family connection.
Absolutely heartbroken to hear of Arnold's passing, but even his obituary included characteristics similar to my father, Yaakov.
May his memory fill you with comfort.

I still remember when my father (Jacobo Preiser) called me to let me know that he was just contacted by two Russian first cousins that we didn't even know existed. Arnold and Leonid had just arrived in the US and had managed to track down my father. I had the pleasure to visit Arnold a few times over the years out in California but am sorry that we didn't get to see more of each other. I do remember thinking the first time I met Arnold that we finally found out what part of the family my brother resembled. It is with great sorrow that I read of his untimely passing. My sincerest condolences to his family. The Arnold Preiser I remember will always be the one described in the obituary.
