Barbara Halvin Obituary

July 1, 1939 - November 15, 2015 Barbara Jean Halvin was born on July 1, 1939 to Gerald and Lillian Lipes at Mommouth Hospital, Mommouth, Illinois. Barbara (Barb) was a graduate of Colton High School, class of 1957, and was married to her High School sweetheart Laurence Halvin. Barbara is survived by a sister, two daughters, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Barbara passed away peacefully at her home in Dundee, Oregon on November 15, 2015. She was truly loved and will be missed by her family! Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 26 at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, CA. Memorial contributions or donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the following charities: American Heart Association, Doernbecher Children's Hospital, American Alzheimer's Association or American Lung Association.
