My Uncle Charles was a very accomplished, kind and generous man. His love of life and wonderful optimism, even under difficult times was truly amazing. I will always remember and miss his sharing funny stories, his warm hugs and of course his happy smile and great laugh; which will bring a few tears to my eyes and then a smile.

Our Dear Uncle Charles..
So many wonderful memories come to mind. His courage and amazing spirit, especially in the face of adversity, are something to behold.
With his calm and upbeat manner, he filled the room with laughter and smiles. He entertained us by telling jokes and stories as well as playing the piano and bells.
I remember when I first met Aunt Jane. They were soon to be married and visited us. A great time was had by all as they prepared a delicacy- turtle soup!
I consider myself very fortunate to have known such an outstanding and wonderful person.
Thinking of you Amanda, Sharla and families and wishing you peace.

My brother Charles coped undauntingly with whatever came his way in life, leaving each and every one of us a guide to emulate him. I, forever, always will have loving memories of him.
