April 24, 1928 - January 28, 2017 Harold "Junior" Prestwood, 88, of Plano, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Memorial service is pending. Harold was born on April 24, 1928 in Compton, California to Harold Norman and Ollie May Prestwood and was a twin brother to Robert. He graduated from Compton High School and joined the Navy shortly thereafter. He spent most of his life living in the South Gate and Downey area and lived in Dallas, Texas the last 11 years. He worked in the pipeline industry for Ameron for over 40 years, several of those years were spent in middle east countries such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. He enjoyed family outings, hunting, and fishing, and could never pass up a game of dominoes. Harold is survived by his wife, Martha; his son, Harold Gil; his four grandchildren, Mary Lafferty, Amy Prestwood, Sarah Elliott, and Noah Prestwood; and five great grandchildren Alison, Ashley, Connor, Tyler, and Raegan.
