Barrett-Pellington, Jennifer Jennifer's deeply treasured and all too brief time with us ended on July 30 when she passed away following an ongoing illness. Jennifer was an angel to everone who ever met her. A loving and nurturing mother and wife to her family, Mark and Isabella Clare; devoted sister and daughter to mother and father, Maureen and Jim; and brothers, Stephan and Robert and sister, Kim. Jennifer's spirit was a guiding force to all those around her. She was born on December 18, 1961 and spent much of her life living in Los Angeles. Her creativity, sense of style, and beauty focused her on a successful career initially modeling and subsequently as a costume designer in feature films, commercials, and videos. Jennifer took great pleasure in helping people and getting things done. Her greatest accomplishment was the creation, with her loving husband Mark, of her beautiful young daughter, Isabella Clare. We will never, ever forget her beautiful spirit, but she will live on through her treasured family and all those who will keep her memory alive in their hearts. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2004, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Church of the Hills. Funeral service to be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 5, 2004, at Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Forest Lawn Mortuary.

To Jennifer's Family,
I am extremly sorry to hear about your loss. I meet Jennifer about 30 years ago when she just moved to Torrance, CA. I was her first friend she met. I remember making purfume with her the very first day she moved across the street from me on Falena Ave. We remained friends for quite some time after that but I have not laid eyes on her for over 20 years but did think about her all the time. Jennifer was a few years older than I was and I always looked up to her and wished I could be as pretty and nice as she was. Again I am so sorry about your loss, she will be missed.

I find myself with few words at this time. Jen always encouraged me to follow my dreams. I did... I found them. She saw in me what I was to become. I was fortunate enough to be with her as she became what she always knew she was. Thank you , Jen! I know you are continuing... And you will always be a spark in my inspiration. Mark, I am so sorry. I know nothing can help at this time... We are with you.

Mark,
I was looking to get back in touch with you, but hardly under these conditions...I never met Jennifer, but gather that she was a pretty special lady who touched quite a few lives. Knowing you, I'm not surprised. Things are obviously tough right now, but, as time passes, please know that I've got a cold beer in the fridge and two little girls who would love to meet your daughter if you can venture down to San Diego. In the meantime, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mark,
Although we have not kept in touch, I have followed your career and am so sad to have heard the news. Jennifer sounded like a great person and an even greater mother. Please if you ever need anything or are in So Cal anytime, look me up in San Diego. Best wishes to you and your daughter!

Dearest Jen-
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall softly on your fields and, until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Jennifer was a lovely woman, a friend of my wife, a friend and patient of mine. She always brought a smile to my face when I spoke with her. I regret not being able to help her. She maintained a wonderful attitude while enduring great physical pain. Truly a remarkable woman, she will be desperatley missed by those who knew her.
