Ken was a good friend of mine. I knew him since I met him at USC Hillel sometime in the late 1970s or early 1980s. I was close friends with Ken and our other friend, Chuck Schepart. I would get together with Ken a a few times each year, often going to a baseball game, hockey game or classical music concert. We would speak on the phone more often. Ken was a very humble individual. I admired his passion for sports, particularly the Dodgers and Kings. He was also very learned and extremely intelligent. He was down to earth and always had a positive disposition. And he always appreciated my jokes and sense of humor. I enjoyed hearing him laugh. He will truly be missed.

I got to know Ken when he was my roommate at the University of Florida. I got to know him over the course of a whole year and we became good friends. As our mutual friend Laura MacDonald said, Ken was smart and funny, and he had a very engaging personality. We shared a lot of laughs as roommates and I still remember those times very fondly. No one could tell a joke quite like him. I am sorry that he went so soon and I think that the world is a lesser place without Ken.

I am so sad to hear of Ken's death. I was thinking of him and our days at U of F and how wixkedly smart he was and how much I loved his wit. And searched him out. I was reading his twitter feed and thought yes, that is the passionate, caring person who was such agreat friend. And then I saw the posting of his leaving us. Such a long loss to the world.

My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends. May you always cherish the memories that you have with your loved one, and remember that God is always there for us like it tells us at 1 Peter 5:6,7. I hope you continue to feel love and support from your family and friends.
