Besides being my aunt and hosting a million people for Christmas every year, as a child, she was the substitute teacher for my class one day at CCS. I remember really admiring her then for her energy and generosity--and bravery!
I never stopped thinking and feeling those things about her.
I also really enjoyed talking with her. She had my father's same eyes and that was very moving for me this last decade plus.
My father, Peter, adored his sister. My mother, Carolyn, always credited Pat with teaching her how to take care of babies. She was tenderly grateful about that.
I feel very lucky she was in my life.

Sending much love to all my cousins in the McGarry clan, with great fondness and love for my Aunt Pat, your dear Mother, Mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

With loving memories of my mother in law for nearly 35 years, you were supportive, energetic, honest, and inspiring. I will treasure our rapport, love, friendship and the respect we had for one another forever. Your help to me through varied phases of my life will never be forgotten, and nor will you.
