July 11, 1917 - January 13, 2017 Saul Morris Salka was born in Chicago, Ill. in 1917. He lived until he was 99 1/2 years old. He earned a degree in Advertising and Sales with a minor in Journalism from Northwestern University. After graduating he met and married Evelyn Judith Schlesinger. They were married for 62 years. He also served his country in WWII. The family moved to California in 1948. Upon moving, Saul became a successful realtor in West Los Angeles. Saul was the son of the late Samuel and Harriet Salka as well as the beloved father of the late Gilbert Salka. He is survived by his two children: Sandy and Don. He also leaves eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Funeral Services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park, Culver City, on Monday, January 16th at 1:00 pm.
