March 8, 1929 - March 28, 2016 Our beloved Mom, "Miss Moose", has joined her soulmate, our Dad, "Mr. Moose" in Heaven. A Los Angeles native, she graduated from Marshall High School, worked in the J W Robinsons Tearoom and Dow Chemical as a secretary. She loved God, and expressed that love singing in Audrey Meyer's Harmony Chorus at Angeles Temple. It was there she met her true love, Ray Martin. They married, rooted in the San Fernando valley, blessed with six children (Ray, Jr., Paul, Ron, Bruce, Nancy, Kathy) and many adventures over years, all celebrated in the light of Jesus and music, great food and laughter. She was our hero. Adoring, devoted, funny, creative and elegant. She passed away in the same home that she lovingly raised our family, leaving a void in our lives but not our hearts. We know she and Dad are on that eternal "Bear Trip" together¿"Lets Buzz!!" A memorial service will be held soon. Please contact the family for information. Donations to The Salvation Army in Virginia's name would be appreciated. She never forgot this charity's kindness to her when she was a child.

Mrs Moose you will surely be missed. I have been blessed for the past 35 years to be an extension of the Martin family. Virginia had a passion for Christ and a God filled spirit. At Family gatherings her wit and sense of humor were a beautiful accompaniment to all meals. Although gone from this earthly plane ,she will be in many hearts forever. I will be keeping the Martins in my prayers.

I will surely miss Mrs Moose, I have been blessed to be an adopted extension of the Martin Clan for the better part of 35 years with the meeting of their sons.
I am forever honored that Virginia and the Family exclusively opened their hearts and home to the Moore family. Virginia had a passion for Christ and a God filled spirit, making it a pleasure to be surrounded by her love and wisdom. Her wit and sense of humor were a beautiful accompaniment within the family gatherings. Although you are gone from this earthly place, you will remain in many hearts forever. I will keep the Martin family in my prayers.

To all my favorite Mooses,
Virginia and I did not see a lot of each other over the years but I felt a real connection to her. I knew she was a Godly woman and that was all I needed. I would think nothing of asking Jackie to have Grandma pray for a need, I sure knew it would be done, Her words of wisdom that I would get to hear through Bruce, Jackie or the kids I would take as though she had said them to me. Still miles away and yet the void is real and palpable. I love you all and take great pleasure in knowing Virginia is with Jesus and Moose for all eternity. Blessings. Cheryl and Family
