Your picture surely represents your youthful spirit that endeared you to my family (Bob, Michelle, Garrett and Karolyn Troutman). Talking with my brother David has revealed his sincere gratitude for your guidance and support during his teen years. You helped establish his employment with the Department of Homeland Security, an opportunity that led him to meet his wife Jennifer. Personally, you have been a source of strength for me as I confront ongoing health issues associated with Parkinson's Disease. Through your numerous health issues you always exhibited a strength that belie the difficulties you faced on a daily basis and continue to inspire me in confronting my own issues.

We are truly sorry to learn of your passing. Little did we know the seriousness of your condition when we last saw you in the hospital. I fondly reminisce of the time we spent together having lunch at Fantastic Cafe and the 2nd Street Grill while I was working for the Port of Los Angeles and you were living in San Pedro. I throughly enjoyed hearing the numerous tales of your worldly travels, while you enjoyed adventures that few of us can experience in life let alone while retired. My one regret is that I never took you up on your invitation to travel with you. If only life could be lived over again.

May you find peace and comfort in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

Lovingly

Bob, Michelle, Garrett and Karolyn Troutman
