All I can say is what a lady, and she will be missed by many!

As a child, I remember Helen Downing as always being dressed spectacularly, involved in one charity or another, and playing bridge and golf with such gusto.

She had a heart of gold, and she knew exactly how to make people feel as if they were important and had something to contribute to the world. When I was working to clean her home or when we would spend an afternoon together shopping in Mexico, she always talked with me and not at me about her adventures and what she leaned in life. As I stopped by her home in her later years, Helen was so excited to see me and wanted to hear all the details of my life, my daughter, and granddaughters.

I know heaven will never be the same now that Helen is there. She will bring excitement into the room and will encourage her husband Bob, to play the piano so beautifully.

You are missed!

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. Psalms 16:15*
