To Cary and all of the family,

I'm so sorry to learn of your loss. I have such fond memories of meeting Kathy, and remember the many fun parties the Stitt family hosted in Denver.

Please know that I'm thinking of all of you, and send my heartfelt sympathy. Wishing you strength and peace in the days to come.

With love,
Valerie Switzer

To Shelly, Leslie and Greg,
We are so sad to learn of your loss. Your memories of your Mom will live inside of you forever, just as those of your father. It's a wonderful thing that the three of you have each other. We wish you and your children the courage and strength to get through this terrible time. It is very sad that we were not close in our later years, but we will always remember and cherish the loving relationship we had when we were young. Lots of love to all of you, our hearts and our door is always open to you. We hope you will stay in touch.
Much love always,
Aunt Fran & Uncle Bob

I met Kathy about six years ago. She got us to try playing golf and we had some wonderful times playing golf in Washington and Long Beach. She would cook us beautiful dinners accompanied by a few great drinks. Kathy was passionate about everything important to her; three children, golf, and political causes. I will miss her.

Kathy,
As I write this I am looking at The "Cooks Illustrated Best Recipe" cookbook you gave me for my birthday one year. All the great times watching you and Shelly cook, and teaching me so much about making it from scratch, and using real ingredients, and just the great techniques and tricks of the trade. I miss our hours on end scrabble games, and I miss you and Greg kicking my butt when I said Pitcher instead of picture, and granite instead of granted. By the way, thanks to you, I say both words perfectly!
You were a mother to me, a friend to me, and a rock. You were the mom I never really had. Greg, Shelly and Leslie, my thoughts are with you. I loved this woman. I miss here refrigerator daily expressions, and I miss her dark, candid and honest by the balls sense of humor. Kathy, my heart is heavy, and you will be truly missed.
All my love,
Dina
