Knew this guy from C.L.B. - came to a couple of parties at my home years ago - very intellectual - made his own beer - Brought him a bottle of Leatherneck Lager - He drank it on his front porch (warm) and commented on the quality - spent a lot of time on Catalina, going over in his own small boat, and then camping out, including making his own water supply. Into a lot of different things. Forgot what his position at the City of Long Beach was - Tracy, my wife knew him as well, long time Belmont Shore Resident - Couldn't get him interested in the Orange County Chapter USMC. His M.O.S. Circa 1961.
From Jack L. Kittinger - Lowell, Rogers, Wilson, USMC 1958, LBCC, CSULB, City of Long Beach. Retired 1958.

Dear Teresa and Ken,
I was saddened to learn of the death of Billy. I knew him as a younger red head cousin who was always doing something interesting. He was a really cute little kid. He grew to become an impressive man, one of the "good guys." I will be thinking of you with sympathy.
Fondly, Katharine
