On behalf of the "Scions of the 17th Airborne Division", and the entire 17th Airborne family, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Trooper Jack Ancker. He was a "Life Member" of the 17th Airborne Division Association, from which our descendants organization has evolved. We will remember him at our annual Memorial Service and visit his grave at Arlington each November during our Veterans Day gathering.
Ed Siergiej Jr.
Secretary

I first met Jack & Casey when I was the Executive Director of the Las Cruces Symphony & they & their friends would volunteer every concert cycle to stuff the program books. Plus, Casey worked the box office at all Sunday concerts. I also knew them at St. James Episcopal Church, which I attended because they were members there. David & I moved to AZ but returned to LC for each LCSO concert & I would always call Casey so we could go to lunch & catch up. Sometimes the 4 of us got together. Jack & Casey were terrific people in every way. My life is totally enriched & blessed to have called them my friends. I miss them both very much.
