Margaret (Meg) Elizabeth McGuire of Las Cruces, N.M. passed away Tuesday, July 30. Meg was born June 23, 1940 in O'Donnell, Texas. She was the daughter of Irene and L J Marett. Meg loved her garden, the Dallas Cowboys, donkeys and the color red – but mostly she cherished her family. Meg is survived by Lynn McGuire, her loving, devoted husband of 32 years; her three children H. Jay Freeman (Sharla), Tracey Hymer (John) and Trinna Thompson (Robert). Meg was the proud grandmother of Jay Ryan Freeman, Preston Freeman, Aaron Hymer and Brittany Hymer. Meg had recently been blessed with three beautiful great-grandsons, Karson, Tanner and Blake. Meg will be missed greatly by her family and many friends; however, they find tremendous peace and celebration in the living legacy of her special life. Viewing will be held Wednesday July 31 from 5 -8 p.m. and Thursday August 1 from 8:30 – 11 a.m. at La Paz Graham Funeral Home, 555 W. Amador Ave. Graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 5140 W. Picacho, Thursday Aug. 1st at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association. Arrangements are with La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home.

We are so sorry about Meg, we were shocked to hear of her passing. We will always have fond memories of our dear friends and neighbors here in Dewey. Meg was a sweet and loving person!! We will never forget her! Love you both Dave and Cheryl

Lynn, Nana was a very precious lady. Even though we did not know her very long she was very special to her family and Kelli really thought a lot of her also.
