Paula Felicia Anzell-Morris, age 60, of Bailey, Colorado, passed away on Sunday December 17, 2017 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver, CO from complications of heart surgery.
A native of Treverton, PA, Paula graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Shamokin, PA, the University of Pittsburg and received her Master's Degree in Business at New Mexico State University. Paula was a natural born leader and former resident of Las Cruces, NM, and was deeply involved in that community prior to moving to Bailey, CO. As the Co-owner of Front Range Commercial Windows and Doors, Paula was a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and the American Subcontractors Association. She was dedicated to making a difference in her community, and was the former President of the Platte Canyon School District School Board, as well as assistant coach to the debate team and a favorite substitute teacher. She received the Colorado Association of School Boards "McGuffey Award" for her committed and passionate service. Paula belonged to the St. Mary of the Rockies Catholic Church in Bailey where she was a Worship Council Member and a Liturgical Director. Paula, her husband, Joe, and friend, Ken, formed the band, JoKen' with Paula and played at various venues in the area.
Paula is survived by her loving husband Joseph (Joe), and son Aaron-Anzell Morris, her devoted mother Rita Anzell, Joseph (Shelly) Morris, grandchildren Leo, Somerset, and Rosalie and faithful companion Chewbacca, along with a host of family and friends. Paula was preceded in death by her father, David Anzell.
Services will be held at St. Mary of the Rockies Catholic Church (224 Buggy Whip Road, Bailey, CO 80421). The Rosary will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 7PM. The Celebration of Life will be Friday, January 12, 2018 at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Paula Anzell-Morris to CHILDFUND (OCF), 2821 Emerywood Parkway, Richmond, VA 23294.
Paula's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

So sad to lose one of great ones so early in life. Paula certainly had a huge heart and love for life. She made a positive impact on everyone she meet. May her family be comforted knowing Paula is in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ enjoying eternal life.
