Bennett
Frances Dorothy age 86 of Hartland formerly of Detroit and Farmington Hills passed away Tuesday afternoon October 3, 2017 at Caretel Inns of Brighton. She was born on June 17, 1931 in Southfield the daughter of Frank and Mae Edna (Myrold) Irwin. On October 1, 1955, she married Raymond Charles Bennett in Detroit. Frances was a member of Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brighton where she was involved in Community Bible study. Prior to her retirement, she owned and operated Dorothy Bennett Beauty Salon in Detroit for over 20 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband Raymond are her children: Debra (John) Moretto of Brighton and Mike (Lynne) Bennett of Howell; 14 grandchildren: Kristin, Robert, Linley, Deanna, Laura, Ashley, Hannah, Isaiah, Micah, Daniel, Maylisa, Kailee, Melissa and Rachael. 13 great grandchildren: Brandon, Jake, Damon, Ava, Lucy, Julia, Bella, Oliva, Lana, Shailen, Riley, Xander and Laney. She is also survived by two sisters Helen and Phyllis and by one brother Phillip.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday October 6, 2017 at the Brighton Assembly of God. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. and on Friday morning beginning at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Brighton. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Bennett's name are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Forgotten Man Ministries with envelopes available at the Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton. I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. It's never easy to go through loosing someone you dearly love. I hope you can find some comfort in your time of loss. Reading Isaiah 61: 1,2 helped me when I was going through my loss.
