We had the pleasure of first meeting Jean (as well as Ogden) one morning as we were eating breakfast. We heard a knock on the door and it was Jean & Ogden who were in Lawrence for a class reunion. Jean had grown up in our house and wanted to see it again. Jean was so charming that we were captivated and invited them in. We ended up giving them a tour and she told us where she and her brothers slept on the sleeping porch and where her father's office was. It was good to hear a history of the house.

I think Jean would have stayed longer talking to us but Ogden reined her in. It was all very charming and we're sad to see her go. I wish we could have had another visit or two with her.
